The Warriors Academy is well known for its gap year experiences, especially abroad, but we have also run several school, youth and leadership camps and programs throughout the year.
The school and youth camps are based on our Warriors Youth Leadership Development Program (WYLD). The WYLD program was established over 14 years ago and since then has become a leader in youth development and educational school tours and camps in South Africa.
We understand the need to take learners out of their daily classroom routines and challenge them with something different. We aim to promote personal growth and development in learners through experiential learning. This helps them understand themselves and the effect that they have on others and the world around them.
Each tour or camp can be adapted to the outcome requirements of the school. We can modify the number of days and focus points of the program in relation to the school's specific needs.
We run, Grade or class bonding camps, counsellors and prefect camps, leadership development camps and more. The academy can accommodate anything from 20 to 120 learners at a time.
School tours or camps are based on the following principles:

The activities on these school camps and tours could include anything from obstacle courses, experiential exercises, potjie competition, theatre evening, night walk, orienteering, crazy Olympics, team building, Warriors-Compass time and many more, depending on the outcome requirements of the school.
*All activities are subject to weather and availability.
Warriors can develop bespoke school programs in conjunction with school-based outcomes. For more information on the WYLD program, please download the prospectus here.
